An agriculture degree is not just about farming; it encompasses various fields like science, economics, and history, making it a versatile and rewarding field of study. The agricultural sector is facing challenges like climate change and food shortages, creating a greater need for skilled professionals with a solid understanding of agriculture.
The agricultural industry is constantly evolving, and graduates can contribute to the development of new technologies and practices that improve efficiency and sustainability. The global population is supposed to reach nine billion by 2050, and they will all need to be served. So, tremendous population growth will cause business opportunities in the coming years for young farmers and augment crop productivity by technology, research, and improved farming methods.

Agriculture being prime field, lot of opportunities are there in public and private sectors besides own farming and development of entrepreneurship. The population in India is increasing in geometric proportion with limited land facilities. Hence it is necessary to increase not only crop production but productivity of various crops. For increasing the productivity various crops under aberrant weather conditions, it is necessary to have availability of skilled human resource. The agriculture graduates will be absorbed in Government/Private Agriculture department, seed industry, biotechnology, Banking sector, Krishi Seva Kendra, sericulture, apiculture, farm management, sugar factories etc. Besides, this college has opened a venue for job through establishment of competitive forum at this college. Placement cell is also working for job placement in private sector.
